May 2019

Last month was gloriously busy again with a wide variety of projects across several disciplines.

I had the joy of working with the National Theatre and Queens Theatre Hornchurch on the new adaption of ‘As You Like It’ involving 120 community performers from across London, running some incredible workshops with incredible people. It was an amazing project and I can’t wait to see the finish product in August!

London City Big Band had an amazing time performing at the Spice of Life last Wednesday. Steve Trowell was on vocals sounding fabulous and in Barney’s absence I was allowed to compere which was a joy. Paul Pace said of my chat “Andrew Linham who displayed rare comic timing & hilarious banter broadsides”. If that’s not a credit then I don’t know what is! I’ve stolen some of Paul’s photos which are below!

Didn’t even bother to stand up to talk. LOL.

In other news my lovely jazz orchestra played up a storm in Peterborough last night! See the Instagram pictures below! It was a joyous gig and we premiered a new sickly sweet ballad entitled “I Should Have Run Off With The Choreographer” which went down a storm!
